AL ALBA FILMS is a production company created with the aim of telling impactful stories about relevant social issues, with complex female characters as protagonists. We understand cinema as an emotional connection with the audience and a powerful tool to generate social change. Telling stories is our form of activism. We are committed to amplifying the voices of women on and off the screen to combat systemic inequalities. We are a team with a diverse background in Film, Theater and Photography. Alba Morera lived in Los Angeles for twenty years, honing her craft before returning to her roots. Being a part of two worlds informs her creative work. It also fuels our desire to create alliances between cultures and expand horizons, both narrative and human.
