Performer and choreographer Marta Carrasco has been revolutionizing the Performing Arts for thirty years, touring the international scene and collecting awards right and left. 

 

The Catalan artist has created a new genre: it is not dance, it is not theater or dance theater; it is 'Carrasco'. It is impossible to label. But her art is ephemeral... it lasts in our memory, in the press. 

 

Now, at the age of 60, she is facing the closure of her company and the end of a journey in which all the conflicts of her life have been channeled towards the search for truth through theatricality, movement and visual theater. The mirror returns to the artist an image transformed by time, changes in which she finds it difficult to recognize herself."What can I do now to fly?" he asks. The answer is to keep my feet on the ground.

 

On this personal journey, Carrasco seeks meaning in everything she has experienced and explores her work in a provocative and experimental way, expressing how she sees the world and the human being.
