Veus Silenciades
In Pre-Production
Three Afghan women who lived under the Taliban regime are now in asylum in Barcelona. From exile, Amira, Saeeda and Sadaf become agents of change for women in Afghanistan through their own transformation and the strength of their experience. By sharing their stories of resilience and overcoming, they show us that it is possible to transform the pain of uprootedness into an opportunity for personal and collective growth.
This story about migratory grief is being developed in collaboration with Nadia Ghulam Dastgir, a writer and activist recognized for her vocal defense of the human rights of Afghan women through non-profit organization Ponts per la Pau.
